    Asus data security manager(ADSM) installation problem..!

    hi everyone..

    you noticed that my problem is about adsm installation.A couple days ago i got an error message that ''driver is not ready''.after than i uninstalled program and re-installed back( actually not).when the program installing i get an error message that''unable to install Asus data security manager (Error number 8)''.Did you ever face this issue? How i am gonna fix it :confused: .do you have any idea?

    It may have left behind some corrupted files. You can look in its program files directory and delete anything that's left relating to asus data security manager. Then try reinstalling it.

    thanks the program has been installed successfully but another problem occurred now.i can't open my encrypted folder.any idea how ım gonna open them.. :rolleyes:

    Sorry I have no idea, I've never used that asus software. Hopefully someone else can help with it.

    Do you have a backup of your certificates? If so, you may need to move it to your profile before you can access your encrypted folder. Also, if this encrypted folder isn't created on your computer (ie it was copied from another computer), you need to first encrypt a file/folder in order to create a certificate.

    Incompatibility with w7 sp1 and antiviruses popping up the net atm.
    Can expect a few bsod too.

    yes i think i have(which is extension with .xml).i tried open it with adsm backup wizard but it required a password and ı don't remember it.So any way to advise for decryption... :confused:
