    Hi guys,

I'm from Europe and I'll be in NY in a couple of days. I'm interested in an Asus laptop but I couldn't find a list of dealers in New York. FYI, I won't be able to buy online so I need a "mortar" shop. I checked J&R, CompUSA, Staples or Bestbuy but they don't sell Asus. Do you guys know any place where I could find my beauty?

    Thanks for your help! :)

www.Geared2Play.com! They are Asus specialists and Eddie from Geared2Play is very helpful in this forum. They are in Brooklyn, NY. I know he's got a physical shop there cause he just told us someone ran away with a notebook the other day...

:centrino: Ye they ran away with it and i broke my ancle falling of their fleeing blue camry. Note to self....Do not chase gunless robbers fleeing with a worthless gutted dummy notebook. Do not jump on their car thinking your he man. Instead casually walk outside and write down the license plate specially when they park 50 feet away around the corner. Also do not call the cops or perimedics. Proceed straight to your doctor who takes insurance. Apparanty some insurance may not cover work related incidents from what i hear. Lastly do get a buzz lock and keep surveillance on especially when your in a crappy neighborhood.
OOh ye forget about pressing charges for assault. Even if gunless robers are cought you can not press charges because you jumped on their car. Infact they can probably sew you for damages to their hood and windshield if you succeed in stomping it out. What a country!! I love America :)

Gee, Eddie- sorry to hear that. By the way, I love NY (I even have a shirt to prove it ;) ). I visit there multiple times a year, I'll be in the area in September. Hopefully the Z70v refresh is out by then, I'll drop you a line. I hear there's some pretty good Thai food of all the places... in Brooklyn. Yeah, I'd lock all those displays systems down if I were you (even the dummy ones). Even if it was Beverly Hills, I'd still lock them down.

Ye i thought about that but the glass displays that may be broken if they try yanking them out are more expensive then the dummy shells on em. I dunno about thai food but there is a sushi bar across the street with all you can eat we go there usually on the weekends when its dead order lots o sake and get drunk then go back and play video games. Other then that the buzz lock we got now works good. Think they helped foil a robbery just the other day. I have not seen a palm tree in a long time. Been iching to go to cali or fl.
