Hey guys, first post so go easy (",)
Have an Asus eee 1005hab netbook for less than a week now off eBay! and the other day I decided to open up the ramm slot at the back to check what brand of memory was in it. i literally popped it out and straight back in but it boots to a pitch black screen now. Seems to be a common problem but I cannot find a solution, fairly certain it's to do with the memory but i'm worried that it could be the motherboard now as all of my attempts to reset the netbook (Power off, unplug mains & battery, hold power button for 60 secs and reconnect) fail to do anything. It can't be the motherboard after only replacing the same ramm stick right? I've only found 1 guy online who had the exact same problem but his solution was to reset it and try putting in the Ramm again and again but i'm exhausted trying this. Oh and i've also tried different ramm sticks too but to no avail. I realised after that I should have disabled Asus Speed Boot in the bios before removing the memory but it's a bit late now (",) Any help at all would be greatly appreciated as i'm all out of ideas. thanks![]()
