    Asus eee 904HA Upgrades

    hi. i am new here. long time reader/first time poster.

    i am about to buy an Asus eee 904HA. and i've been reading a lot of info, but want to upgrade a few things.

    - upgrade from 1 GB RAM to 2 GB RAM - how do u do it?
    - fresh install Win Vista Ultimate from its origingal disk - how do u do it? and any troubles with the drivers at all? please help me on this, since this question is more important than the first one.

    any help would much appreciated!

    I definitely agree with EBE and say go with the 1000HA. If you want a true 9" model, then that's a different story. Upgrading RAM in the new EEE's is not difficult and requires breaking no warranty stickers. Installing Vista may pose some driver issues, etc. Take a look at eeeusers.com for more information concerning this. I know that they will run Vista and can be tweaked to work at nearly 100%. If I may ask, what is the need for Vista?
