    Hello,

I purchased a second hand Asus netbook 1005PEB model. The previous owner upgraded the ram from 1gb to 2gb. I am having an issue and I was wondering if anyone knew what it might be.

When the computer is turned on and in windows, (every time I have done this) when I plug the ac adapter in, the screen turns into (moving) checks of all different colors (as if there is an issue with the graphics card). To end this I have to completely restart the computer.

I changed the 2gb of ram stick to the 1gb stick, and have not been able to recreate this problem. Could the ram actually be messing up the computer? Please let me know. Thanks in advance.
