So, in the market for a netbook. The 1215n/pn looks nice, as does the probably-vaporware 1218, but I'd rather go for a 10-incher, since I've got a 15-incher as my desktop replacement.

Anyhow, I was looking around, and the 1015pn looks really nice. Dual-core Atom, ION2, and, most importantly, Optimus switching tech. Before I pull the trigger, I'm wondering if you guys know about it.

    Specifically:
Does the Win7 Starter OS support Optimus? I read that it does not, but I want confirmation.

What is the maximum RAM it can hold, assuming I have a x64 OS? 4GB? 2GB? I know it only has a single RAM slot.

I plan on adding a faster HDD or even a Momentus XT into this netbook. How are temperatures? Is a 7200rpm going to cook?

    How are temperatures in general?

    Can it make pie?
