Asus ensemble, low supply, higher disti prices.

A few disti claimed today ( Monday ), They would have W3J in stock, after a few days waiting, it turned out another delay announced, the ETA is next week, but after a few times delay like this, no disti wants to confirm date and qty anymore.

I have been fighting whole day today to buy new stock, got small qty ( W7J and A8Jm, F3Jm ), and Fremont has NO A8Jm left, NO W7J left, NO W3J left.

That is pretty sad at this time of the year, also today, all the distis raised the prices allot, I paid about 2% higher than before on the models I got.

The only good news for today is F3Jm supply started.

does anyone know the reputation of Zipzoomfly getting their share of the W3J. Does ASUS distrubute the notebooks equally per reseller, how good is ZIpzoomfly into getting a good number of notebooks. Seems to me ASUS mainly distribute to G2P, Milestone, and Proportable.

It's all dependant on how many orders resellers put in with their Distributors... then the Disti's put in the orders with ASUS.
Unfortunately, ASUS has not been able to fulfill much of anyone's requests for the highly sought after models.
