Hi! I've been a member here for a while, but haven't posted much. Anyways my question is how often does Asus estore restock their products that are not available? I've been looking at some replacement parts for my laptop (such as another hard drive bracket), but they never seem to restock. I tried searching for the answer on the forums, but haven't seen a conclusive answer. Thanks for the help :).

As far as I can tell, the restocking isn't on a regular basis. Hard drive brackets for relatively new models are the most difficult to find on any laptop parts site.

*If you're looking for a G71/72 bracket, I have a brand new one. This is the part description: M70SV/N70S/G71 HDD Bracket Assembly. I'm willing to part with it for a small sum. I bought it thinking I could somehow use it in the G73. I've since acquired an actual G73 hard drive bracket from the Asusparts (not officially afiliated with ASUS) store out of Sweden.

I'm not sure what model you are talking about, but I ordered a HDD Bracket for a G73JH, from Asusparts (the same place in Sweden as mentioned in above post).

I placed the order 3 weeks ago, and the order status on their website showed "Awaiting Parts" up till yesterday, when it was updated to "Shipped", and I also got an email from them, confirming this. So I guess in another week or so I will hopefully have the part.

From what I have heard from others on these forums, this is pretty much the normal time for receiving parts from asusparts.eu (at least for those of us in the US).

    I hope this is helpful.

There's no definitive answer as to how often they restock particular parts. However, one thing for sure is that the Asus estore doesn't always update their website. Often times when a part is shown as "not in stock", they actually are and you'll have to call them to place the order.

You can call the people at the estore at 510-739-3777 extension 3 to ask if they can order what you want. The estore has accommodated me in this way. They may not know until they hear back from Taiwan.

Thanks to everyone for your quick replies. I actually wasn't looking for a G71 bracket but a G51 one. I was thinking they didn't update their stock status. I will make sure to give them a call. Thanks again for all the help.
