So I think this is a hardware, hopefully straightforward, problem.

I have my g1s hooked up to an external display and while I was using my machine, the display just froze and went kind of rainbowy and blurry. I eventually restart and on start up the display lights up, but there is no image on it. I try disconnecting the external display and the same problem occurs. I keep trying and eventually it works, but only for a short few seconds.

I imagine this is a hardware problem as I've heard the sounds of windows logging in even with no display and this problem starts at bios, so before the OS.

I think there is probably just a loose connection somewhere. Could anyone send links to pictures or anything of where I should look for a loose connection?

    Thanks.
