I recently bought a x1 and I had a quick question for other owners of this laptop.

My cores tend to idle around the high 60s/low 70s and reach the high 70s/low 80s when gaming. The fan seems to always whine after 10 minutes (regardless of what the temp is) and when gaming. The laptop is rarely quiet.

    Is this normal?

Edit: Heats up when watching DVDs or streaming movies also.

If this is abnormal is there any way to correct the problem?
