    Hey all,
I've had my g51 since the release from GenTechPC and I was coming home from college today so I turned the laptop off, packed it up all nice in my bag and took it home. Now I get home, plug it in and the laptop doesn't turn on. I remove the battery, the led's by the power button flash for a second then nothing. After that, whenever I press the power button nothing. I have held it down for 30 seconds, then tried and nothing.
    Any suggestions?

    try reseating ram
turn on and see what happens
unplug battery, unplug ac from both ends
hold down power button for 2 sec
    plug ac back in
turn on and see what happens
try removing both ram. any change?
    was this customized with something?

Are they flashing and then turning off? Or does it turn on and off quick? If it is flashing it could be a power issue. Contact Asus' live support and they will help you out.
