Hi so my new graphics card finally shipped, and assuming it works I am planning to overclock it as much as possible to get a few more fps out of games ;p

I just am not sure how to go about cooling accessories:

    http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=941909774

This is my future card which looks identical to my past one.
Components in red were cooled with thermal pase
    In blue with pads
    Yellow weren't cooled
and Purple isn't covered by heatsink at all

New Card is 560m 3gb and the old one was 460m 1,5gb

So Asus covered vrams and the little things ;p with paste and when I was repasting my laptop once putting paste on them too after 2 years of use I had very good temps for another 2 years.

From what I seen in the others ppl threads everyone covers vrams and all read area with pads.

I understand that normally ppl put paste only on the chip and cover the rest with pads because of space between them and heatsink but it appears to me that my heatsink lies perfectly on all Red components and like I said I had them covered in paste and it was fine before.

I use ceramique 2 as thermal paste since its not conductive and its ok to place it on all components and also I read on most topic I found that temperature differences are very little in compatsion to arctic silver and other nonconductive alternatives..

Also asus has a very good cooling and 460 560 don't generate much heat for it.

So my question is should I still use paste on the Red components if I plan to overclock the card.

And I also wonder if it matters what kind of cooling pads I use for either only 3 Blue areas or all the areas where they would normally go. I mean, since pads don't rly conduct heat so well is there any sensible difference between buying some casual 7m/kw and the expensive 17m/kw ?

I apologise in advance if any of my questions are noobish or answered elsewhere but I couldn't find them anywhere.

Also thank you in advance for all the help :)

    Regards
    Pittie

Why are you wasting time and messing with a 560m? Its not good at all anymore. You will struggle greatly in any recent game.

Its time to let go of that 6 year old laptop. Jesus guys....

I know but I cant afford a new laptop at the moment and I had to exchange my old card either way so thanks to an advice of another user I'll try to use this occasion to get a bit better performance :)
