The storage tab in settings shows 27.8GB. The system itself is pretty bare bones, especially compared to my HTC Incredible S. It had Polaris Office and a few Asus apps (My Cloud, My Library, My Net, File Manager), nothing extra. It only came with 16 widgets, 5 from Asus, the rest from Google.

I haven't tried Splashtop over the internet, but reveiws I've read have said it doesn't work well.

Considering 32GB formatted is 29.8, that's not too bad I suppose. Was that including your movies and stuff you put on it?

I figured as much. I guess gaming over Splashtop is out. Still a nice thought though.

Oh! One big favor, if you wouldn't mind. What sort of accessibility settings are there? I have really bad eyesight (about 7% of average) and I'm hoping there's a font size option at least. A lot of the fonts - icon, and menus in particular - aren't exactly huge.

I'll take a few screenshot of the system. The only accessibility option is a screen reader, and you need to download and install that yourself. If you already have an android device and uses other accessibility apps, then there is a chance those apps could work. Compatibility is not guaranteed between android 2.x and 3.0.

Splashtop is limited to 1027x768 or 800x600, so gaming may work. I'll give it a try to see what happens, but I have my doubts about trying to emulate mouse movements with a touchpad.

Just tried playing a strategy game (Elemental) through Splashtop and the experience is just not that good. Click and drag doesn't seem work, at least I haven't figure out how to perform it. If you're looking to play 2D games, chances are you can get a version optimized for tablets.

A little disappointing, but neither were deal breakers for me. Thanks for the info.

What are people's opinions on the Asus EEE Transformer? I was looking at picking one up since it looks like a very cool device and may come in useful for university. Plus it's only $400 for the 16GB model without the battery/keyboard/xyz dock.
