Lol... looking at this thread

I was wondering if I buy the BestBuy G50, and break the laptop after 10 month I can demand Asus for a new laptop with a graphic card that is at least as good as a 9800m... And looking at how all 9800m are getting out of production (especially 10 month later) and looking at how the P7450 will also pretty much not existent... Asus should give me a brand new laptop where both the CPU and GPU must be heavily upgraded.
This sounds like it can work b/c they need to give me a new CPU and GPU that is at least stronger than a P7450 and 9800m GS...
Food for thought... lol

I'm sure they will have plenty of unopened G50's lying around that they will give you.
I doubt you'll get upgraded. -
I personally wouldn't do it. You might get a unit back with a little defect or something, and they won't fix it.
It's karma, man, it's happened to me before. But risk it if you'd really like. -
Bestbuy models dont get 1 year of accidental warranty only the machines bought off the web . Web models get 2 years of warranty automatic 1 year accidental and 30 days of dead pixel guarantee.
Like Scyiik said then there is the whole Karma thing you have to live with from doing something dishonest(which im sure many people couldnt care less about)
Also knowing Asus they would just fix the machine as im sure they have plenty of parts laying around to fix there machines. -

ClearSkies Well no, I'm still here..
And just to further clarify the ADP for any *other* members who might be reading this thread.....
Asus will repair or replace (at their discretion) one incident under the ADP program. If replacement is authorized, it will generally be the identical/original model (if still available anywhere in Asus warehouse stock), and not the current version of a notebook. Asus doesn't really make large performance jumps in model updates during any 12mo period, so this entire discussion is moot. -
Yeah but... the BB G50 is moving out. And as Vidi stated I'm sure they have some extra in stock. It was just a joke topic.

Yes it was... How do you know if it wasn't or not? I'm not going to waste 10 month and going through all that to save 200 bucks or whatever. Man Steelers you always post the most worthless on this forum.
