Can any asus laptop users help me with my windows vista audio sound being disabled? every time i try to enable sound device it says its working, though its not? every time i switch on i get this message, "HControl has stopped working." Does this have anything to do with my hotkeys function which no longer works. I think i have a virus which norton 360 has not detected? Any help out there?

Try removing, and then reinstalling the following applications:
ATK drivers, ATK Generic Function Utility, ATK Hotkey, and ATKOSD2.

I don't think it's a virus, more like an ATK Hotkey bug.

I'm also moving this to the main ASUS forum.
