Hi, iv'e got brand new asus k53sc a week ago, and after instaling windows 7 i meet an issue. after fresh instal of windows 7 professional 64 bit everything worked perfectly, boot time was about 15-30 sec, but after drivers installiation and reboot, boot time changed from 30 sec to 3-4 mins, i need to mention, that I only installed drivers, nothing else. i think it's nvidia card problem, specs: Asus k53sc i5 core, 500 gb, nvidia 520mx 1gb video card. windows 7 prof. 64 bit.
Also i've tried to reinstal windows few times, but it's same...
so, when i press power button, it shows asus logo (few secs) then windows is starting (about 10 sec) and after that appears black screen, which takes about few minutes, and ONLY then windows shows "welcome" message, i don't know what to do, please, somebody help me. i searched common issues, but everything i tried - nothing worked. also sorry for my bad english.
    Best regards, Mantas, Lithuania.

Sorry to hear that, have you tried F9 at power on to restore to factory settings? (note backup any user data FIRST)
