    Is there a ranking of all the current Asus Laptop models by 3D Mark score? This would greatly help in choosing the right laptop. Thanks!

    3DMark06 at 1280x1020:
    G70Sg 9800M GT S 1GB GDDR3 :8660
    G71g 9800M GS 512MB GDDR3 :8176
    G50vt 9800M GS 512MB GDDR3 :7939

    Older GPUs:
    G70S 9700 8700M GT SIL GDDR3: 8331
    G50V 9700M GT 512MB GDDR3: 5708
    G1Sn 9500M GS 512MB DDR2: 3476

    if your looking for a gaming laptop any of the g50/g70 series would do fine. it's there best gaming laptops

    Do you mean 9800M GTS for the G70? And something was wrong with your system, a GTS should easily score 9300.

    3DMark06 at 8660 is about right for T9500 CPU, Santa Rosa platform and stock driver. :)

    oh, ok. I haven't actually done he test, it was from another retail website that said that. I belve the CPU was a T5800, so that's probably it. ;)

    My N80vn in sig at 1280x800 will hook up to HDTV to test at higher rez. What rez should it be (1680x1050 is max on my TV)?

    at 1280x800, my N50Vn-A1B gets 5701 3Dmarks with a 33% overclock on the GPU's core, shaders, and RAM. Not overclocked it gets around 4700.

    I have a g50vt-x1 and i installed the new driver from nvidia 179.?? i scored 9101 with the cpu on turbo. when i overclocked the gpu i scored 9757 on the 3dmark 06. this machine is a beast.

    both of these score are impressive and raise the bar

    I never though id see the day an 8600gt passed 6000 3dmark really cool.
