    Asus live update & shutdown problem

    Hi guys,

    I have two small but annoying problems with my G1S. It was all fine until i did a clean vista install.

    - Asus Live Update: can't uninstall that useless (in my opinion) piece of software. It's not showing up under Programs and Feature nor in my CCleaner removal tool.

    - When shutting down my laptop...it takes ages to log off from windows (the actual shutdown is O.K.)! After a bit of research i found out that it was the KBFiltr.exe that was causing this delay. This application is related to ATK HotKey. I tried to update it but the problem persists...

    Any help would be, as always, greatly appreciated :-D

    Try and install Live Update and then uninstall it again. If that doesn't work you could just disable it from msconfig.
