Basically, the screen is really dim, but I can still see the images on the screen. I guess the backlight or the inverter broke. Just wondering if anyone can help me find a replacement backlight, or an alternative option.

I checked Asus's estore and saw the they only sell the entire LCD package at $350. Really don't want to spend all that much, since its a old machine, I rather spend some more and buy an entirely new laptop.

Still want to keep this one though, don't really play games, and its a great machine. Hope someone can help, thanks in advance.
