    Asus n50 Vn - can't use wired connection

    Hi, I can connect using a wireless connection, but I can't connect using a wired connection. I tried to install the last LAN driver, but it didn't worked. Can somebody help me? Also, I don't remember, when I plug the ethernet cable on my notebook, any light will be on?

    First of all, did it ever work?

    If so, try rolling back your driver to its original state.

    I had a similar issue when windows auto updated my wireless card driver. I had to roll back my driver and after that i worked again.

    Goto Control panel-->Device manager-->Network Adapters

    your network adapter should be listed there. for example mine(G72GX) is a Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller....

    yes, it did worked before.
    How do I roll back? My network adapter is the same of yours.
