It's driving me nuts! Whenever i touch the lcd area (both back and top) i hear it in my headphones. not to mention a loud hissing sound. IF i disconnect the headphones and turn the volume a up i get a lot of mic feedback.

i tried disabling the recording devices from the sound options - did not work
i tried uninstalling the webcam driver... but at soon as i restart it installs by itself... .

This wasn't a problem before i installed skype i think.

    But nevertheless, please help me.

    thanks

I seem to remember skype having an option somewhere to have it automatically control the volume levels of your mixer. If you see that option, disable it, and then turn down your mic gain in the mixer (or mute it altogether).
