Hello,
So i have an asus n56 vz notebook, and on wednesday I installed ubuntu into a usb flash drive after that I couldnt acess anymore to my Windows 8. So I used repair boot tool, nothing happened it appears that the ubuntu installation made a swap partition in my disk, when i booted it up I only got grub and couldnt select windows partition i googled and I managed to create an option in my grub to go to the windows with grub customizer so I did that it gave me "command drivemap not found" so again I couldnt get to my windows partition, I tried to boot up with a usb flash again I went to my BIOS and on my boot options I only had the ubuntu flash drive and for my surprise my HDD was labeled as ubuntu too and I hadnt my windows 8 flash drive as option(or the DVD drive), so I assembled a old desktop computer and tried to check the HDD problem it seems it went to GUID(GPT) partition.. My ubuntu pen also had a problem with kernel eventually and I couldnt boot once again into ubuntu. I formated my HDD with the old desktop computer, i plugged in again in my Asus went to the bios and I couldnt select the HDD as boot option I tried to disable/enable secure boot + fast boot still nothing..
Can you guys help me out?

Was Windows 8 installed under UEFI, and did you install Ubuntu under UEFI? Or did you install it under CSM/UEFI disabled? The BIOS setup is important in dual boots, especially with systems running Windows 8 and OA 3.0
