The laptop freezes every time the ATI Mobility Radeon Series 5000 in enabled. Sometimes it recovers saying "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered." Most times it shows BSOD. When it freezes yellows lines are all over the screen. I can disable that and the laptop works great(I need this for games though)

    I've tried:
-Uninstalling and using AMD auto detect.(AMD downloads OMEGA 14.12 and after installing the screen goes black?)
-Updating drivers from AMD manually(Same problem still happens
    -Updated chipset
-Made sure BIOS were up to date but didn't mess with it
    -Tried re-installing windows 7 64-bit
-Did a CHKDSK/r (Says nothing was bad)

I ran who crashed and it said this:

On Fri 4/17/2015 9:55:05 PM GMT your computer crashed
    crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\041715-38469-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: atikmpag.sys (atikmpag+0x78B8)
    Bugcheck code: 0x116 (0xFFFFFA80070D7010, 0xFFFFF88003D248B8, 0x0, 0x2)
    Error: VIDEO_TDR_ERROR
    file path: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\atikmpag.sys
    product: AMD driver
    company: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
    description: AMD multi-vendor Miniport Driver
Bug check description: This indicates that an attempt to reset the display driver and recover from a timeout failed.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: atikmpag.sys (AMD multi-vendor Miniport Driver, Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.).
Google query: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. VIDEO_TDR_ERROR

Should I just replace the whole motherboard?
