    Hello notebokreview users,

I purchased an asus notebook a few days ago. The model is M50Vc. Everything works well as it should except the microphone..
I tried talking with a friend of mine today and he kept complaining about not hearing me good. He could hear me fine if I was talking really close to the mic but he couldn't otherwise.
I even tried playing with the mic volume, changing the options but without any success. I really have no idea what could the problem be at this point. I tried looking for driver updates but it seems that I have the latest drivers...
Any help would be really appreciated!

    Thanks.

Did you try enabling microphone boost?

It's already enabled. It default value is set to 10 dB. I tried playing with that as well but with no luck.

My microphone used to be like that, but somehow after not using it for months and having many driver changes in between, it's actually usable now.
