This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I got the email from Asus today:

    " For those who don’t know, Asus is now offering an extraordinary warranty term on EeePC – ZBD (Zero Bright Dot) Guarantee!!!



    Within 30 days of purchase, if there is any single dead or bright pixel on any model of EeePC, Asus will replace the LCD panel free of charge.
    "

    How about 1 year accidental warranty on EeePC Asus? :D
