Stardock has released in cooperation with Asus an official Asus Windowblinds theme. The theme is free, but you need Windowblinds to use it. Here is the Link

I guess it looks OKAY... but I probably wouldn't use it
-
Cool. Thanks for the info!
NVIDIA has the themes for free here: http://www.nzone.com/object/nzone_asustheme_news.html -
sweet! i'm so gonna put it on my W5A
-
Mmmmmm looks nice
The only gripe is that it has a abnormal 2-3mm 'gap between the edge of screen/window which often covers tabs...like in CHC, I can't see the top tabs anymore using the ASUS thing.. -
That's pretty sweet... too bad I can't use it. Fable would crash on me after I installed the theme.

Just downloaded this theme. Kinda cool. I want to keep it but some icons are screwed up like for Word icons. Anyway to fix it?

Naturally It's cool because Its Asus, but I wouldn't use it either! I'm playing around with this new W5a right now and I must say It's one sweet little laptop. You can't beat this form factor. I'm rethinking buying a W3J now, I might just wait out the W7J for the perfect blend of size, style and performance...who knows, the graphics card might even get upgraded by the time it gets here. Sorry, anyways, thanks for posting that, I'm sure some people will definitely use it.

I uninstalled the theme but my Word icons didn't return to normal. Anyone know how to fix this?
Nevermind. I fixed it by repairing the Office installation -
if you run into problems with icons download tuneup utilities 2006 and go to apperance, icons and then "RESET ICON CACHE" and it sets all icons to the default windows ones

Interesting, i like the theme, but i would not use one of these things, i like the classic and original style. <- Works for me
Thanks,

I just tried this out on my new A8Jm but I don't really like custom skins. They always look out of place. I am using the desktop it came with though.

I like the Royale theme, I think it comes with Windows Media Center, but you can download it on several websites as well (don't know exactly where, I can e-mail it though).
-
You can find that Royale thme at the official microsoft page
You know the search function from this forum, i guess
And the direct link is posted at Aer0s XP Styling thread, i think -
Royale is very slick. Looks just like the linux theme Clearlooks. Way better than the default XP theme.
