I know alot of people complain about repair time, but I think asus did a fantastic job with mine, I dropped it off on Wednesday afternoon, and by Friday afternoon they had replaced the screen, mobo, heatsink, and batteries. I think thats a pretty good turn around and good quality service.

I didn't have a problem when I sent in my laptop for screen repair. Sent it in on a Thursday, got it back the next Thursday.

:) Yesterday I got mine back after more then a month of waiting just to see that nothing has changed. 3D still has problems and lockups.. obviously depends in what country you live and if it is destined for you to have an asus.. :d

ASUS Canada is excellent. I sent my W3J in twice for repairs (LCD, HDD). Both times overnight priority shipping was free both ways and I received my laptop back within 48 hrs and 72 hrs respectively.

Note that Canada's phone technical support is routed to their US offices in California, but the laptop is sent to the Canadian repair center in Richmond Hills, ON.

    Cheers.
