They are almost as good as asus fremont. Nothing to wprry about. Their north american support is excellent in terms or turn around. Cant say much about phone support. "reinstall the windows" is their number one advice as it should be.

Their server is very good, first you call 1888-678-3688 USA, get the RMA number.
Then call 9053702787 service richmondhill asus, to get arrange the shipment of your laptop, and then your laptop will go into repair and then they will ship it back to you.
Just an FYI, someone recently just got their laptop back from Richmondhill and he was very happy, he posted in a few threads below.
PS: Sometimes you will have to be a little patient with their English... -

If your problem is software related (aka user error) then dont even bother calling. If it is an inherent problem, no post, or an obvios hardware issue you really dont have to put up with anyones english. Dont call them for software support and you will be plenty happy. I guess thats what danny was trying to say. They kind of expect everyone to reinstall windows from the restore cd before any rma. You may as well do it before calling just to rule out the possibility of a software related problem. Thats not just for asus canada. The same can be said for any company in any country pretty much.

Asus N.A. will pick up round trip if within 1 month of purchase or the end user "requests" it. They dont openly offer it but they do allow it

I've had good luck with the ASUS service in both Canada and the US, Just mailed my A8Jm off late last wednesday it's on a fedex truck right now on the way back from ontario.
With the US office I took my laptop in after getting the RMA number and such and waited for it too be fixed, I had arranged this over the phone though as I was in the area and had the chance to get it fixed.

I just had the pleasure of using the RMA service in Richmond Hill myself recently. I called in to the 1-888 #, got a case # and then dropped my W3V off at the place the same day - even before I got an RMA #, in the last hour before they closed. Luckily, it's about a 20 minute drive from my home. I told them that I had to leave for the USA shortly and I was on a bit of a tight schedule; they pretty much had the laptop done the next day and I picked it up the morning after that. < 48 hour turnaround, which was great, I thought, even though I didn't use shipping. Definitely make sure you don't have a software issue though. Otherwise, the staff there are certainly competent at handling problems...

i had rma two batteries for my asus z33a
little to no hassle, reported problem online, after a few emails, i got an rma number and they sent a fedex guy to come pickup the package
both times no problems and they are fast, like mentioned by other people, email replied within 24 hrs and battery back in a couple days -
I had some problems, I'm a 15 minute walk away from the Richmond Hill service center and I went into it about 10 times when my laptop was about a few days old because it had dead pixels. I posted all my experiences on this board to the Z96J Owners Lounge...they gave me 2 LCDs with more dead pixels, another with the wrong resolution, they even gave me the wrong laptop at one point. Finally though I got them to order a replacement and thats what I have now and it works great.
Gotta be patient though...and it really depends what your problem is...

P.S. Write down all the numbers on your laptop before you leave, serial number, MAC address, etc... - and make sure all the screws are in it. They forgot 4 screws on my heatsink at one time (and I used it for 2 days before I decided to open it up to check why my temps were high) then blamed me and said I'd lost them. Take some pictures if you can... -
RMA'ed my W3V twice from Edmonton to their Richmond hill location. Called their general NA office in San Fran. Arranged RMA and FedEx pick up for next day. Was back within 3 days. Happened about 6months and 11months after I got my machine.
