I own a Asus V6J and when i close my lid, the HD is around 45C. If i leave the screen closed for 10 hours while the laptop is on, will it damage the screen in any way?

From my experience most laptop hard drives, are rougly 40-43 degrees celsius, but 2 degrees difference is not going to do any harm.

Make sure there's nothing blocking the vents, so that all the air can be ventaliated.
