    Is it not possible to register you Asus product without getting spam?

    ... well, we don't, that's one. But realistically, you're right. That is just a standard legal notice just in case. From my knowledge, Asus doesn't do any of this anyway........ if they did, I'd be top on their list of "spammed customers" as my email gets used on every order that goes directly through them and I've also been doing business with them for over five years now........ nothing remotely connected with them has ever been sent this way.

    ... on a side note, they very well may be speaking of partners of theirs........ technically people like us (although we've never had any talks about any lists like this) ... but most likely people like ATI / Nvidia and Intel / AMD ..... Most LIKELY - those are what they're talking about... if those guys update customers about new products, it'll mean more sales for them down the road....... also, it's probably something they'd be interested in... it's not spam on erectile disfunction.
