ASUS has published its specifications for its first AMD Athlon 64 based notebook. It so far has not made it to its website, but can be found in great detail with photos in its ASUSWorld publication for resellers.
    Here we go:

    nVIDIA Crush K8M
    (2) SO-Dimm sockets (Upto 1GB DDR 333 [PC-2700])
    GeForce FX Go 5650
    15" XGA/SXGA+ Display /w ACE View Technology
DVD or Combo DVD/CD-RW or DVD-EW
    Integrated 802.11b/g
    Intregrated 56k Modem
    Intregrated 1.44mb Floppy Disk Drive

I have this notebook. i purchased it a month ago in Australia. It is good value and well made. The specs are not the latest ie. the 5650 graphics card is a little old but it performs well and certainly good enough for me. It is more powerful then the graphics card put in the Compaq AMD64 notebook range. It is like the L5G but becasue it has a proper mobile processor it runs alot cooler and hence the fan does not come on anywhere near as often. The ACE view screen is fantastic

Andrew2000 is right, this is not a "new" notebook, in fact it was released several months ago and has been onsale for at least 2 here in Australia.
There are also been several posts about this notebook during this time in this forum, but strangly they didn't get much of a look in?
