    Hello,
I need help with two problems and I would really appreciate some helpful advice.
First problem: I have an Asus A9RP series and I installed win 7 on it. After a few days the touchpad won't respond and sometimes when it dares to do so the cursor is just moving left-right but not up-down or otherwise. Sometimes it works fine sometimes it goes crazy, it moves quickly all around the display as if posessed, without me even touching the touchpad. I put an usb mouse and the touchpad sometimes works, sometimes it doesn't but with the external mouse everything is fine. But I really want the touchpad to work as well.
Second problem: My laptop won't start when i press the on button untill I take out the battery and put it back in. Afterwards it starts as if nothing at the first touch of the button.
I know the laptop is old but works fine except for these problems so I am waiting for other ideas than "get rid of it an buy a new one". Thanks!
