Hey, i just recently purchased a asus u30jc-a1 and i don't know how to activate the geforce 310m.
I thought nvidia optimus changes through the graphics cards automatically depending on what you're doing. I've ran 3dmark, and played many games and it sucks cause i can't get the geforce 310m going.
Ive also gone to the nvidia control panel and under 'global settings' selected 'high-end nvidia processor' but that didnt do anything.
How do i use my graphics card![]()

What setting do you have on your power4gear?

Don't overestimate the GeForce 310M.
Notebookcheck: NVIDIA GeForce 310M

What do you score in 3DMark06 and Vantage? -
'high performance', it still says integrated graphics in every mode

When I open up 3dmark06 it has a list of your specs right, and even on high performance mode it says
GFX: Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator
Asus u30jc. Can't get nvidia optimus to work.
