The asus download pages are really messy. i just checked for updates for my F6V and they have a couple of updates e.g. NB probe, express gate...
I opened the file and installed them to realize that they have old versions in the zip files. Express gate 0.7.7.0 instead of 0.8.8.6 and for nb probe the same. That is really embarrassing.

    Cheers,
    Marco

As I've noted elsewhere - Asus is known for being behind in their updating of the support pages downloads for drivers etc, and it is common for currently shipping new models to have updated drivers than are available on Asus' website.

Lesson - always check the version of your driver on the pc before running an update :).

No it is worse. I thought that I downloaded the recent new file as named on the download page in my case 0.8.8.6 zip file has name XXXX27/10/08. I unzippe this file and install and get an older version 0.7.7.0. That means they zipped the wrong version and label it as new updated file.
