Making a separate thread because information is so scattered for this model.
    Some questions:

    0) This is the highest power UX30x model that comes with discrete graphics, correct?
    1) Is this only avaliable in Australia?
    2) Can I replace the HDD with an SSD?
    3) Are there any problems with this model that I should know about before buying?
    4) I'm seeing price points around $2000 USD but I thought the price was supposed to be around $1500? What's up with that?
    5) Is there a way to order a stripped down model without the HDD and RAM since I'm going to upgrade them anyway?
    6) Where can I get it? Bonus if I can pay in Bitcoin.
    7) How much of the RAM in the 4007p is soldered?

Hi Phantom here is what I know:

    0) No there is a higher model 4007P with 8gb RAM
    1) So far I couldn't find the model with 750gb HDD anywhere else
    2) Yes the HDD is replaceable, however if you do so you will void the manufacturers warranty on it.
    3) I haven't had any problems with mine (I have the 500gb HDD with 8gb RAM)
    4) I think the 1500 is the one with 500gb HDD not 750.

I am unsure about the last two questions, if I get more info will update! :)

Sweet. I guess I'm looking for the 4007P then. Unless they both come with the same amount of RAM soldered?? Is that 8GB soldered or some ??GB soldered + ??GB removable?

    Added question
    7) How much of the RAM in the 4007p is soldered?
    to OP

    Also: Where'd you get it?

4GB of RAM is soldered with the other 4 upgrade friendly so you can expand the total RAM to 12GB if you like!

I got mine from memeoeryexpress in Canada, but mine again only has 500GB of HDD.

    Hope this helps!
