    Hey i'm just browsing the internet and using my laptop for basic usage such as spotify, and i often check back on "my computer" and i see the ssd slowly losing .1 gb very often

    any recommended programs to erase old files?

    Did you install Anti-viruse program?

    If not, go to the website you usually go to. Do not go any page for 5 minutes. Check the hard drive light to see if it is moving. If yes, then you know this website is giving back door cookies or spyware. Do not go to this website again.

    Back door cookies are difficult to remove. The best way is to recovery from Asus recovery partition again and begin from fresh.
