    Greetings to all,

Some time ago we accidentally pushed my wifes ux31e off the sofa to the floor, kinda landing on the side first. I tell u this bcuz i think thats the reason.

A short time after that we noticed the keyboard went nuts. Some keys do not represent their corresponding letters anymore, but instead function keys.

O is control or sometimes enter. N became theprint screen button. Some others when pushed result in radnom variables. I googled and saw a guide of opening the laptop and sort of pushing some sticks on the motherboard down, that worked for two seconds before we got back to the same problem.

Laptop is bought in Japan march 2012, so more than one year has passed. Any ideas how to fix it or get it fixed? Appreciate any feedback.

    Br

Not much you can do except try to reseat the cable like you did the first time. While your accidental damage protection warranty is up you should still be able to send it in to get repaired, it will probably just cost you to do so.
