    Hi everyone!

II've got an Asus Vivobook v550ca. I'm planning on replacing the current network adapter (QUALCOMM ATHEROS AR9485WB-EG). I have a Netgear WNDR3800 Dual Band Router, but cannot connect to the 5GHz frequency since the Atheros adapter is only b/g/n compatible.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a replacement? If I'm going to upgrade, I may as well get the best (or at least something good!)

Thanks in advance for the help!

802.11N can operate on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz though. I'd still recommend an Intel card over the Atheros ones if you are looking to replace it.

Try Intel Wireless AC 7260, more future proof.
