They're currently priced the same at $2399. A few days ago, Newegg was selling the X2 for $2249, but I guess due to the W90's popularity, they decided to increase the price to balance out the supply/demand.

    Probably not
The form factor is something I probably won't be too comfortable with and in the meantime, my G71 is still more than I'd need.

I ordered the X2 from NewEgg last week and it will be here today. Got it at the 2249.99 tag. I'm replacing the G1S which has to go in for repairs.

The HDD seems plenty big enough at 320. I couldn't see paying more for a dual drive when I barely ever have used more than 80 gigs on a system ever. Depends on the kind of user you are, I suppose. 640 gigs seems overkill for my needs.

It probably would have been cool to have the blue ray reader, but I won't use my computer to watch movies. Mostly games and multitasking on the internet.

Will let you all know anything drastic worth noting when I get it out of the box :) Hoping all goes smooth.

Do you feel this model as a poor design or inherent issues ? Please advise on what you mean by form factor.
    I hope I didn't make a mistake buying one.
    thanks in advance!

What i meant by form factor is the physical size. It's just a personal opinion as I'm sure many W90 owners may tell you that it's not that bad.

I was hoping that is what you meant! lol... ok, well , UPS was just here... The w90 is booting up and running checks and I must tell you -- THE FORM FACTOR blows my mind,, its huge, it gorgeous,, sexy like me :)
I feel like its xmas or something right now.
I wasn't expecting a bluetooth mouse... May use my G5 instead. The speakers just from booting windows shocked me with the depth of the sound already.

ok,, back to getting it all set up.. wish me luck that all goes smooth and I will be raiding in Ulduar tonight!

P.s My husband will be jealous now that he sees it, since he's getting my G1s after it gets repaired!

They up to $2349 now. Damn! And I was about to buy one today too. I guess they help me decide that I really don't need to be spending this kind of money.
