Say to all owners with VISTA,

How do you connect to the admin interface of the router. My router address is the typical 192.168.2.1 but it can't connect to it. If I use an XP machine it finds it in no time.

I recall leaving everything on the Network on "obtain automatically IP" option.

I am going crazy, I hate vista more and more. Its interface is more confusing than XP.

Perhaps the firewall is stopping the access? I'm not sure how the Vista firewall works, but you could use some other, more verbose firewall such as Comodo, and turn off Windows Firewall (use Security Center for instance, I think that's how I did it). Then, it should be clear whether the firewall is blocking you or there is a configuration problem for the WLAN.
