Hi there, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this problem? I know the x59 uses the F5 motherboard so if anyone knows of this problem for them it would be really helpful.

Essentially when I plug the power in I just get a solid green light for power, and the power button does nothing. When the battery is inserted the charging light comes on but when you take out the battery it stays lit until you remove the power.

Running it from just battery yields no results.

    Thanks,
    Robbie.

It sounds like the board is having some problems with its power circuit. What happened before this?

You've probably tried removing the battery and AC power and let it sit. You can try removing the CMOS battery, or holding down the reset button if your model has a hole labeled >o< on the bottom.
