    Hello,

I just got the z35f, and I installed the cpu, HD, and ram but when I boot it up I see nothing on the screen. Can anyone help me? I took out the ram, so that must not be the problem. Could it be my CPU?

    Tuan

Does it actually turn on? Can you hear the hard drive and just don't have a displayed image, or is it completely not responding to the power button?

It will power up, and I can hear the cpu fan and HD running.

Is the screen blank, or can you see POST messages / blinking cursors / whatnots?

I think you might wanna check with your reseller to see if there's a loose LCD cable or even faulty LCD....

I think it still should at least show something on screen... in either case, you can either open it up yourself to see if something's wrong... or as I said, better to contact your reseller or ASUS to get it fixed...

Were you by any chance the guy that contacted me by phone last night trying to get support for a notebook you bought at ewiz???
In any case if it was not mentioned before. Remove your hdd. Remove the extra ram you put in. make sure the cpu lock lever is in the locked position. Make sure your cpu is a yonah t2300 t2400 t2500 or t2600. If still no go then return it to ewiz for another one.
