    Hey guys can anyone point me to or know of where i can get the drivers for this laptop..esp the sound drivers.

    You can find the audio drivers for your Z7000 at the Asus website.

    yeah saw that but i need a vista driver and none is listed there and the xp doesnt work

    Interesting, I had the same model and XP sound driver was working very well.

    I would tell you to perform a fresh install and try again. It should work..
