There are 3 things that are holding me buying the ASUS Z70v

1-it has no SATA, i want a computer that can survive the upgrades of tecnology

2-Internal Bluetooth module still not available + Intel price cut in july

3-How reliable can an ASUS be after 1 1/2 years of usage

There have been many good buys around, but i like asus, but fujitsu is fighting close(too bad is a little expensive).
what other model can i pick (PLZ EXCLUDE Z71V, THE MONITOR IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING, DONT WANT SPARKLES OR ISSUES)

    haha......

    1. upgrades of technology and upgrades in your needs are two different things and you should consider that.

    2. regardless of the BT module, you're looking at the same price to wait and get it put in or to bring it back in a month and put it in then....... that is IF the BT module Asus sends us works out...

    3. I have a 4 1/2 year old M1 sitting sitting around in much better condition then year old Dells I've come across.

I'm not going to touch the "sparkles" comment... that's a figment of peoples imagination.... at best some people get bad screens, but the Z71v has a worse screen than the Z70v which has the W1n's screen.... research what people said about that... bottom line, the best 15.4" WSXGA+ matte type display out there.

    Thanks,
    Justin

I am not going to say the sparkles issue is ridiculous. Ok fine i Just did
I can say asus product is Extremely reliable. We have only been selling their laptops for just over 1.5 years but great luck so far. Very low rma and for the rma that we do get there is no swhortage of parts. If you like product that can be easily fixed, find your self the right dealer and go to asus. Did i mention i am not only an asus reseller i am also a client!!!

What about it? I know I answered that question.

Prices change everyday. The ONLY thing worth waiting for is a cpu price drop every quarter and ONLY if you are looking at say a 2.1 ghz cpu right now..... other than that, you're not going to see much of a change. Other than that, notebooks that came out last spring sold for within $50 of what they sold for this spring.... RAM, Hard Drives always fluctuate and the ONLY thing you can count on is the CPU drop 4 times a year.......

The bluetooth module is something that PROPortable is getting right now to test and eval in the Z70 series...... We're ONLY getting 10 and Asus only imported, or I should say, is importing... 10. They won't be here for a couple weeks at best and I'm fairly sure there is a list of customers who already have their units and a list of people waiting to get their units who have asked for these if they test out. We're looking at a month before they could be a common place item that Asus will import.

    Thanks,
    Justin

J i think you mad a typo. The z70v screen is better then the z71v. You said the z71v screen was worse then the z70v. Someone is going to call you and ask "how bad is the z71v screen". I did that in my review and guess what.?? Someone asked!
