I found an asus z8100 notebook at a estate sale but it didnt come with a recovery disk. The owner had formatted the harddriver and reinstalled windows. he said it ran great for him but he didnt use it for much other then saveing txt files. I attempted to hook it up to my network only to find it wouldnt connect and many of the devices were not installed in the device manager folder. Anyone know where I might be able to get the recovery CD for this? The notebook wont connect to my network so I cant send files from my other pc to it and I dont have a burner on my other pc to DL the files and burn them on cd.

Could you please give the specific model? Z81D, G, K, etc?

You should be able to download all drivers here, no need to get a recovery cd!
Just use a flash drive to move the files over.
