    Hmm I don't get it. If its eco freindly why the hell did they cut down a tree to make it. Kinda defeats the whole purpose. Gotta say though it's one beutifull laptop. I stand corrected I forgot how fast bamboo grows.

    The EcoBoook looks pretty awesome to me... I prefer a darker, more subtle look though. If the price was right, I'd definitely get one!

    Ha ha, recall on the bamboo...

    I would say its still more "eco" though because Bamboo is "better" for the environment than all of the plastics and metals that we make and mine. It would be easier to create, and recycle, Though it does come at the cost of a bamboo tree.

    Actually, it is the screen (contains mercury) itself that causes the hazard when computers are disposed improperly. But of course, plastics are bad too in terms of production and improper disposal.
