I was trying to use SetFSB's PLL diagnosis feature, mostly because I don't really know what it's for. Anyway, I immediately got a blue screen and could no longer boot into Vista. I stuck in the restore disk thinking I would use Windows Repair, which has saved me in the past on my desktop. To my dismay there is no such option. Only the option to restore the whole system and wipe the hard drive.
What was Asus thinking? I've seen a couple other posts with no solution to this problem other than using a real Vista disk, which I luckily had. Repair worked perfectly, no data loss.
Also, what is restore disk #2 for? I put it in and seems to boot up the same as disk #1.
Is there another way to do a Windows Repair that I'm not aware of?

Restore disk 2 is to prepare the system for use in different regions of the world.

You can download the repair disk here:

Also the free windows 7 RC disks also will repair Vista.
