    Asus: Warranty 90 day reset; is it true?

    Asus G72GX re-certified on NewEgg:
    I have never bought a refurbished or recertified computer before.

    A reviewer on Newegg said:

    Do you know if that's true?

    If it is, then is this correct? If the first 90 days are over, you're out of warranty, and you have to RMA, you will get 90 days again?


    NewEgg has their own warranty (Net Service), choice of 1 or 2 years.
    From what I read, the service with that one isn't good either.
    So I'm thinking of just forgoing the warranty completely. Am I mad?
