I might be overreacting or just be extremely excited, but I noticed that Asus.com got a slight upgrade today, cuz they the home page didn't require you to select a country anymore. I was just looking through the specifications of the W3J, and noticed that for processor section, they have a set of Core Duo processors, and they have Core 2 Duo in there!

Does that mean they're releasing the Core 2 Duo version really soon, or does it just mean that the W3J can support the Core 2 Duo processor?

Its release of Merom equipped ensemble models is supposed to be imminent, but I would hazard a guess that a BIOS fix will update support for the existing hardware to be Merom compatable.

There is nothing new. The website has been updated to say Core 2 Duo for a long time, more than a month. Any model that has a "-" after it has Core 2 Duo support.
