AsusG2 Mobility Radeon X1700

Hello I have Asus G2 Notebook and I Don't find the driver for Ati Mobility Radeon X1700!!!In the website Ati not there are driver for this video card!!
Help me! Thanks

 

your going to have to download catalyst 7.2 from another site.

If it doesn't recognize the Video Adapter then your going to need to download it from a direct link in the graphics section of the forum or use a program to force driver download

 

Get the latest driver from http://www.ati.com/online/mobilecatalyst/ - They have X1700 support, even if the website doesn't say so. You can check out some threads such as this for more info (search function is a very useful thing )

If the 7.2 mobiles don't work, try 7.1.

Sorry to contradict you dash, but 7.1 doesn't contain the X1700 in the INF file by default so you'll want to stick with 7.2 which is the first one that ATI included it in themselves

Even though this isn't my problem, I spent a few of hours researching it a couple weeks ago in hopes of helping some people. I think I did then. I just wish someone could take 5 minutes to read some my posts where I ask for help
